Journal Topics


Please refer to the journal rubric in order to determine if your journal entries are meeting the requirements. If you are absent, you can use one of these topics in order to ensure that you have all of the journal entries needed at each "check-point".

Unit 1 Topics

5. What do you think the most challenging thing about high school will be?
6. How will you use your Holland Career Code Results in the near future? Do you think it will help you determine certain aspects about your future career?
7. If you could describe your ideal lifestyle, what would it be like?
8. What type of career do you think would fit with your lifestyle needs and wants?
9. What are your top 3 career choices? Why do these careers seem appealing to you?
10. As of today, what do you think you will do after high school? Do you have a plan in place? Unit 2 Topics 1. Working in teams can prepare me for work because.... 2. Create a list of 3 goals, and explain how you will accomplish your goals. 3. What career cluster do I belong to? Do you think this is representative of your personality and goals? 4. If you could have any part time job RIGHT NOW...what would it be? 5. What classes do we have at school 6. Would you ever be intersted in attending a technical or vocational school? What would you study? 7. Since you have been thinking about your future...how important is money? 8. How much preparation or training will you need to obtain your career goals? 9.
